LMES Update Log

This chapter records the updates of each version of the LMES system, including new features, optimizations, improvements, and bug fixes.

v2.8.0 (2025-11-17)​

✨ New Features​

  • [New] Printer Support Extension: Added native support for Zebra printers (ZPL commands), providing a license-free printing solution, which can be flexibly switched with Bartender in system settings.
  • [New] Printer Support Extension: Added support for FastReport.Net label printing, providing a license-free report template solution, which can be flexibly switched with Bartender/Zebra in system settings.

🔧 Improvements & Optimizations​

  • [Optimization] Data Backup: "Engineering Data Backup" function adjusted to only backup core configuration data, achieving lightweight and fast configuration recovery.
  • [Optimization] Work Order Management: Interface refactored into multiple tabs (Work Order List, In Production, To Be Produced, etc.), and added batch release/pause functions to improve management efficiency.

  • [Optimization] Formula Management: Integrated into a "List + Drawer" interaction mode, added enabled status indication, and optimized information architecture.
  • [Optimization] Station Current Step Display: Optimized card layout to display more log summaries, and upgraded the "More" button to a pop-up real-time log window.
  • [Optimization] Cycle Time Analysis Data Table: Unit product cycle time data table and unit time capacity data table now enable data clearing function by default, retaining data for 60 days.

🐛 Bug Fixes​

  • [Fix] Fixed the issue in the "SOP Management" module where relevant columns were not correctly hidden when the system did not configure the process segment function.
  • [Fix] General Dropdown Component: Unified display of "No Options" when there is no data, and unified support for search function to improve consistency and usability.
  • [Fix] Merged known issue fixes from historical versions, including station accessible IP/user loss, BOM detail interface refactoring, material verification process logs, etc., unified into the current version.

v2.7.1 (2025-09-26)​

✨ New Features​

  • [New] Defective Product Repair Management Page: Maintain handling methods for a product after equipment repair when NG occurs. When a product generates NG in a process, if configuration exists in the defective product repair route, an equipment repair judgment record is automatically generated.
  • [New] Traceability Report added three parameter types:
    1. Normal Parameter: Directly collect data in variables.
    2. Curve Parameter: Read data from CSV, plot curve after setting X and Y axes.
    3. Image Parameter: Display image.
  • [New] Station Current Step Component: As an independent component on the manual station dashboard, facilitating field workers to clearly know which step node the current system execution process is at through this component, and clearly see the product's inbound and outbound results; capable of timely identifying and handling anomalies occurring on site.

  • [New] MCP Service Component: Provides AI-based intelligent data query and analysis capabilities for LMES, achieving deep integration of AI Agent and Manufacturing Execution System.

🐛 Bug Fixes​

Historical Version Known Issues​

  • Fixed station accessible IP and accessible user loss issue (Reproduction steps: Right-click edit station and save after manually configuring IP and user and saving), optimized right-click edit save logic, null values do not update.
  • Material Management: Added "Allow multiple BOMs for the same product model" option switch, supporting extended attributes.
  • Material BOM detail interface optimization, refactored business operations using id.
  • Material Verification Step: Added necessary process logs.
  • Station Console: Optimized reset process to ensure fetching latest process information after updating process.
  • Product Management: Optimized old SOP import/export logic (If SOP is not enabled in system configuration, SOP related configuration is shielded in product management export table).

v2.6.1 (2025-8-13)​

New Features​

  • Formula Management: Added formula log page to record user operations of adding, modifying, and deleting formulas.
  • Traceability Report:
    • Traceability report added station login user field, binding production data with station login user.
    • One-Code Traceback added list display format, using list format to display basic information, parameter information, and material information related to the product.
  • Defective Product Management: Added batch judgment function, allowing multiple defective products to be selected for unified judgment processing, improving judgment efficiency.

Optimizations​

  • Formula Management:
    • Parameter setting interaction optimization: Original interaction of modifying parameter immediately taking effect is optimized to use a pop-up window for parameter setting, prompting modified content when saving.
    • Formula log name optimization: Original formula log name optimized to Formula Run Log.
  • Traceability Report: Summary table configuration optimization: Original product model summary table display parameters were consistent with corresponding process display parameters, now optimized so that summary table display parameters can be set separately, improving display freedom.
  • Defective Product Management: Judgment interaction optimization: Original interaction of automatically closing pop-up after judgment took effect is optimized to keep the pop-up, reducing repetitive operations of opening judgment pop-ups.
  • Barcode Management:
    • Validation rule optimization: Original default validation of barcode segment quantity, now added a switch to freely control whether to validate barcode segment quantity.
    • Validation rule optimization: Original barcode segment must be validated, now added no validation option, allowing no validation for the content of a certain segment of barcode.

v2.6.0 (2025-7-21)​

New Features​

  • SOP Management:
    • Step management added monitoring page field, maintaining corresponding monitoring page according to step.
    • Added process dimension SOP file management field.
  • SOP Component:
    • Added step page monitoring component, implementing monitoring page display based on steps.
    • Added process SOP display box, displaying SOP file of current process.
    • Added process reset function, allowing overall reset interaction for configured SOP components to re-process the product.
    • Material management list added reset button, allowing reset and clear operation for entered material codes.
  • SOP Flow: Added SOP Control-Equipment tab, providing complete handshake interaction configuration with PLC.

Optimizations​

  • Formula Management: Optimized modification restrictions: Original restriction that formulas associated with work orders cannot be modified is optimized so that formulas not in production work orders can be modified.
  • SOP Component: Optimized configuration prompt: If SOP component is not associated with a variable for use, prompt variable not associated to remind user to associate variable.

v2.5.0 (2025-6-30)​

New Features​

  • Production Line Information: Added production line information and historical information, recording production line configuration data, archived monthly, recording changes in engineering configuration data.
  • Station Console: Added process run records, providing process instance records for the last seven days, providing process instance ID to facilitate troubleshooting issues during process execution.
  • Product Management: Configure planning coefficient based on different process segments of product model. Input planned quantity when creating work order, and process segment calculates actual planned quantity according to coefficient.
  • Traceability Report: Query optimization, providing fuzzy matching method for matching query of production data by Product ID and Update Code.

Optimizations​

  • BOM Management: Interaction optimization: Original automatic generation of BOM list based on product model optimized to manually creating BOM list and then associating with product model.
  • System Settings: Process parameter configuration in original process settings moved to traceability report settings.

v2.4.0 (2025-5-21)​

Defective Product Management​

  • Optimization:
    • Original restriction that material unbinding operation can only be performed on equipment repair judgment results is cancelled. All judgment results can now perform material unbinding operations.
    • Repair products provide material re-binding operation. Input new material code to bind repair product with new material.
    • Interaction optimization, production data list optimization: Original list information could be viewed and modified, now optimized to view only, clarifying view scenarios.
    • Manual repair result, cancelled data supplement button, providing repair process selection pop-up to independently select processes requiring manual repair.
  • New:
    • Manual repair result, providing parameter operation list, selecting processes to be handled, manually modifying collected parameter data.
    • Added One-Code Association Query, allowing forward and reverse query of associated product codes using product code or material code for repair judgment.
    • Added material handling records, recording user's historical operations of unbinding and binding materials.

Flow Management​

  • Optimization:
    • Material data source optimization: Original collection and validation material data sources corresponded to different variables, now optimized so that data source only comes from material parameter variables.
    • Inbound flow, repair product flows to OK process for station passing processing.
    • Provided formula version number field. Get variable formula version number during production, match system formula content, and issue to current station for production.
  • New:
    • Added material validation flow (2), triggering detection, obtaining material code for material rule validation, and recording to material parameter variable after validation passes.
    • Added material integrity validation flow, validating whether used materials are complete and correct based on material BOM list.
    • Added automatic repair flow for defective products, providing a way for equipment to trigger and mark product repair.

Material Management​

  • Optimization:
    • Batch material quantity optimization: Original quantity maintenance at material management dimension optimized to station dimension. Each station can maintain quantity for the same batch material.
    • Material records changed to monthly tables. Old data cannot be queried on the new version page.
  • New: For batch materials, added material warning function. Configure warning quantity for different stations. If actual batch material at station is lower than warning quantity, trigger alarm variable.

Formula Management​

  • Fix:
    • Real-time update function, fixed issue where real-time value could not be updated to formula value for setpoint type.
    • Real-time update function, fixed issue where real-time value was incorrectly updated to formula value for process value type.

SOP Dashboard Component​

  • Optimization: Product code and material code input boxes optimized, providing outbound clear option. Automatically clear input box data when outbound is triggered, no manual clearing needed.
  • New: SOP dashboard component, added batch material loading component, realizing manual station operation for batch material loading.

Other Modules​

  • New:
    • System Settings, Work Order Control, added work order automatic end logic. End work order when qualified quantity equals planned quantity.
    • Secondary development support, extended attribute database retrieval support (Process Management, Work Order Management), supporting filtering and querying of custom fields.
    • Process Management, Manual Process, configure accessible users and IPs for process to control usage permissions of manual process.
  • Optimization: Work Order Management, support editing planned quantity, start time, and end time information of paused work orders.

Note: LMES V2.3.0 plugin only supports CMS V2.16.1 ~ CMS V2.30.2.

v2.3.1 (2025-3-14)​

New Features​

  • Traceability Report: Summary table configuration, added extended query summary table type, manually configuring displayed processes and corresponding process query conditions to achieve forward and reverse one-code query.
  • SOP Dashboard Component: Product and material input boxes added new interaction, added cursor jump interaction. After data confirmation and issuance, cursor jumps to specified text box component.

Optimizations​

  • SOP Dashboard Component:
    • Product and material input boxes optimization, providing automatic clear interaction. Automatically clear input box data after data confirmation and issuance.
    • Material parameter list input box optimization. After entering material code, input box automatically jumps to the next line.

v2.3.0 (2025-3-11)​

New Features​

  • Pallet Management: Manage pallet information, support binding and unbinding of products and pallets during production, and manage and trace production information.
  • Flow Management:
    • Added product information distribution flow. Obtain historical production data during production, issue to current process for processing and display.
    • Added parameter transfer flow, transferring data from one variable to another, reducing the use of events and scripts.
  • Formula Management: Provide formula process values, mark formula value types. Obtain historical production data during production as formula values for product processing.
  • Traceability Report:
    • Added import function, supporting external data import into LMES in specified format, achieving unified storage and query of external data in LMES.
    • Query optimization, providing suffix matching query method, supporting query of production data from product code suffix.
  • System Settings: Added traceability data query duration configuration, optimizing query performance and improving traceability report query speed.

Optimizations​

  • Flow Management: Material detection flow optimization. Original material collection and validation had to be used together, now split into material collection and material validation flows for separate use.
  • Traceability Report:
    • Display configuration, parameter display optimization. Support parsing rules configuration for production parameters, displaying parsed raw data, simplifying equipment data provision method.
    • Export/Import optimization, providing progress pop-up to display progress information in real-time.
  • Barcode Management: Barcode generation rules bound to products. When producing different products, different barcode rules can be used for product code generation.

v2.2.0 (2025-1-16)​

New Features​

  • Label Management: Supports configuring connection to Bartender. LMES calls Bartender during production to transmit data for label printing.
  • Work Order Management: Provide automatic work order execution function. Start work orders according to list order. End work order when planned quantity equals input quantity, achieving automatic work order production.
  • Material Management: Added batch material loading function. Enter material code for traceability during production, reducing repetitive material code entry operations.

Optimizations​

  • Defective Product Management: Provide material unbinding operation. Select bound material for unbinding during product repair. Unbound material can be reused.
  • Material Status, Missing Process Detection: Optimized detection timing. In addition to triggering in inbound flow, also allowed to trigger in material validation flow.
  • SOP Management, Indicator Configuration: Provide import and export functions. Import data for quick engineering configuration, export for quick data backup and migration, improving usage efficiency.

Note:

  • New feature multi-language content is expected to be provided in 2.2.1.
  • LMES V2.2.0 plugin only supports CMS V2.16.1 ~ CMS V2.27.0.

v2.1.0 (2024-12-06)​

New Features​

  • Inspection Management: Supports setting inspection part process routes and expected process processing results. When executing inspection tasks, record processing data and results of the inspection process, providing data support before formal production.
  • Material Management: Provide material inventory records, real-time deduction, and operator inventory maintenance function. During production, the system deducts used materials in real-time based on BOM usage or actual equipment feedback to avoid material waste and insufficient inventory.
  • Product Processing Result Judgment: Added composite judgment type. Combining local and PLC judgment, if any case is judged as NG, output NG result. Comparing to original single judgment, provides composite judgment function.
  • Traceability Report: Added repair judgment filter field. Filter to display only repair data, viewing data for different repair situations.

Optimizations​

  • Station Management: Outbound interaction. Original "Collection Completed" text changed to "Outbound Completed", aligning with inbound interaction to standardize system interaction.
  • Traceability Report: Optimized collection parameter field display effect. Parameters exceeding limit range are displayed in red, providing obvious marking effect to discover abnormal data.

  • Complete LMES multi-language function is expected to be provided in 2.1.1.
  • LMES V2.1.0 plugin only supports CMS V2.16.1 ~ CMS V2.24.0.

v2.0.0 (2024-10-16)​

New Features​

  • Station Dashboard Component: Provides information display including SOP documents, processing parameters, used materials, execution steps, and flow control of processes and steps. Flexibly combine and configure different station operation dashboards to cover more manual station scenarios.
  • SOP Management Module: Provides SOP document management page. In addition to the original scenario of uploading and viewing SOP documents, supports dynamic maintenance of step operation descriptions and SOP documents during production, and associating records of production data after executing SOP.
  • Production Statistics Module:
    • Provide daily output trend curve and process output bar chart to summarize and display output data, identify abnormal production fluctuations or abnormal processes, locate influencing factors, and handle and solve in time.
    • Provide Pareto chart of unqualified reasons to view the quantity and proportion of unqualified reason categories under time and process, identify key influencing processes and unqualified reason categories, and solve quality problems specifically.
  • Database Support: LMES supports SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases to meet project delivery in more operating environments.
  • Flow Configuration: Added Request API node. Call API in the flow, providing a way to interact with external systems, realizing visual configuration of scenarios such as order acquisition, completion reporting, and production data upload.

Optimizations​

  • One-Code Traceback: Optimized data display style. Classify and display process parameters, formula parameters, and material codes according to process. Mark different categories of production data to identify data sources and quickly focus on key data.

Note:

  • LMES V2.0.0 plugin only supports CMS V2.16.1 ~ CMS V2.21.0.
  • Due to business requirements, LMES version number is synchronized with CMS base, changing from 1.0 to 2.0.

v1.5.0 (2024-08-21)​

New Features​

  • Console: Added console component, providing debugging and exception handling tools. Added means to troubleshoot production problems, improving efficiency of delivering software and troubleshooting problems.
  • One-Code Traceback: Added One-Code Traceback component, supporting query of north-south data using product code and material code. Query processing parameters of products in different processes at once, simplifying data query process, and improving data traceability and transparency.

Optimizations​

  • System Settings: Page structure optimization. Settings classified by function, providing clearer interaction, clarifying the purpose of each setting, reducing user understanding cost, and improving usage efficiency.
  • Business Field Configuration: Provide multi-dimensional production statistical data, push data in real-time, reducing R&D workload of repeatedly processing data, and enriching data available for user configuration.

Optimizations​

  • Performance Improvement: Performance limit increased from 40 stations to 80 stations, supporting high-load operation with 80 stations to meet extreme production needs of more stations.
  • Stability Improvement: Stability increased from 40 stations to 80 stations, supporting stable operation with 80 stations, providing stronger and more stable support for complex multi-station production environments.

Note: LMES V1.4.0 plugin only supports CMS V2.13.0 ~ CMS V2.16.1.

v1.4.0 (2024-07-05)​

New Features​

  • Production Flow: Added flexible production method, supporting production line to open multiple work orders simultaneously and execute multiple formulas simultaneously for production, improving production efficiency.
  • Cycle Time Analysis: Provide data analysis component, summarize existing production data, generate charts, provide means to observe station production situation, helping users analyze and improve station cycle time and capacity, and improve production efficiency and output.
  • Multi-language: Flow Management and SOP Management modules provide multi-language functions to meet users' normal use in different language environments.

Optimizations​

  • Page Optimization: Pages unified adjusted and beautified to provide more friendly pages, improving user experience and satisfaction.

v1.3.0 (2024-06-20)​

Optimizations​

  • LMES Upgrade: Adapted to base version 2.13.0 and above. After upgrade, all base capabilities can be used.
  • Backup and Restore: Backup data structure optimization, making backup and restore functions clearer to use.

v1.2.0 (2024-06-17)​

New Features​

  • Traceability Report: Report configuration. Added custom process function in display configuration, supporting free selection of process combination display, improving display flexibility.
  • Multi-language: Product Management module provides multi-language functions to meet use in different language environments.
  • Production Tracking Component: Provide simple configuration to obtain production data in traceability reports, quickly build real-time lists, and reduce repetitive configuration operations.
  • LMES Basic Edition: Added Product Management module, supporting users to maintain product information in the basic edition and supporting product classification traceability.

Optimizations​

  • Traceability Report:
    • Display optimization. Provide report column width adjustment function, supporting free adjustment of column width to achieve best display effect.
    • Added query button. Clarify query action, reduce accidental touch frequency, and reduce system pressure.
  • Log Optimization: Optimize logs according to specifications, improve problem troubleshooting efficiency, and better locate problems.
