Indicator Configuration
1. Module Overview
Core Function: The "Indicator Configuration" module is a flexible configuration center used to dynamically manage business indicators (also called "business fields" in the system) at all levels of the production process. Users can configure the data indicators and corresponding variable values that need to be monitored, collected, or calculated for nodes at three different levels: complete production line, process segment, and specific station. This module is the key foundation for achieving refined and digital management of the production process.
- Component Identifier: BusinessFieldSetting
- Component Name: Business Field Setting
- Component Category: run (Plugin)
2. Scenario Description
- You will need to use this module in the following business scenarios:
- New Production Line/Station Commissioning: Configure production indicators that need to be tracked for new production units (including process segments and stations), such as output, yield rate, equipment status, etc.
- Process Flow Change: When the production process is adjusted, monitoring parameters for a certain process segment or station need to be added, reduced, or modified.
- Data Dashboard Customization: Configure data sources required for large screens or reports, associating indicators on the interface with background calculation variables.
- Batch Configuration Update: When the same indicator for multiple stations needs to be adjusted uniformly, the import/export function can be used for efficient operation.
3. Function Introduction
-
Interface Overview: The module interface is mainly divided into left and right areas. The left side is the "Production Line Hierarchy Navigation Tree", which clearly displays the complete hierarchical relationship from "Complete Production Line" to "Process Segment" (such as "PLA Production Line Group" in the screenshot) and then to specific "Station" in a tree structure. The right side is the main operation area, containing function buttons (Import, Export, Save) and the "Indicator List" of the currently selected node.
-
3.1 Production Line Hierarchy Navigation
- The navigation tree on the left is the starting point for your indicator configuration. It completely displays the three-level structure:
- Top Node: "Complete Production Line", used to configure global indicators.

- Middle Node: "Process Segment", such as "PLA Production Line Group" and "PLB Production Line Group" in the screenshot, used to configure aggregated or specific indicators within the scope of the process segment.

- Bottom Node: Specific "Station", such as "PLA_GX1_Station 1", used to configure operation or monitoring indicators unique to that station.

- Top Node: "Complete Production Line", used to configure global indicators.
- By clicking any node on the tree, its exclusive indicator list can be loaded and displayed on the right.
- The navigation tree on the left is the starting point for your indicator configuration. It completely displays the three-level structure:
-
3.2 Indicator List and Configuration
- After selecting a navigation tree node, the table on the right will display all configurable indicators for that node.
- Field Name: The name of the indicator, such as "Shift Batch Online Count", "Current Work Order Planned Output", etc., predefined by the system and cannot be modified.
- Variable: This is the core configuration item of this module. You need to enter a specific value or a system-defined variable name for the corresponding "Field Name" in this column. This value will serve as the data source for indicator calculation or display.
- Remark: Supplementary explanation for "Field Name" to help understand the business meaning and statistical caliber of the indicator.
- Save: After making any changes to the "Variable" column, be sure to click the "Save" button in the upper right corner to make the configuration take effect.
-
3.3 Import/Export
- To facilitate batch operation and configuration backup, this module provides powerful Excel import/export functions.
- Export: Click the "Export" button, and the system will generate an Excel file containing the indicator configuration information of all current production line nodes. In the file, each production line node (whether it is a complete production line, process segment, or station) corresponds to an independent worksheet (Sheet), and the worksheet name is the node name.
- Import: Click the "Import" button and select an Excel file that meets the format requirements for upload. The system will match the production line nodes based on the worksheet names in the file and update the "Variable" values of the corresponding indicators in batches.
5. Best Practices and Precautions
- Exact Match: When using the import function, please ensure that the worksheet (Sheet) name in Excel is exactly the same as the node name in the system's left navigation tree, otherwise the system will not be able to identify and update the configuration.
- Data Type: Although the "Variable" column is a text input box on the interface, different indicators may require specific types of data (such as numbers, text, etc.) in the background. Please enter compliant data according to the "Remark" instructions of the indicator.
- Backup Configuration: Before making large-scale modifications or using the import function, it is recommended to use the "Export" function to backup the current full configuration to prevent misoperation.
- Hierarchical Configuration: The system supports indicator configuration at three levels: Complete Production Line, Process Segment, and Station. Please configure at the correct level according to business needs:
- Complete Production Line: Used to count macro data of the entire production line (such as total daily output).
- Process Segment: Used to count aggregated data of a specific production stage (such as the qualified rate of a painting segment).
- Station: Used to configure micro, real-time data of the station itself (such as current work order, current shift output).
